2003. "Godfathers" - TV drama
The Yes Pro Media Company and the Art Department of RTS, with a screenplay and direction from Aleksandar Mandic, produced the television drama "Godfathers". Staying in Hungary and meeting with Serbian citizens of Hungary and ethnic Hungarians inspired the author to write a dramatic, comedic and ironic reflection of the situation. The play was recorded in March 2003. Broadcast the same spring on RTS and Hungarian national television.
The action takes place in a maternity hospital in Budapest during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, and the main characters are young people waiting for their wives to give birth. One is a Serb from Hungary, and the other is a Hungarian from Vojvodina.While they are waiting for their children to be born, they drink a little and so in the conversation they touch on political topics, history, nations and women ... The actors are young and of Hungarian origin - Čaba Ralbovski and Ferenc Peter are from the theater in Subotica, and Krista Sorčik and Figura Terézia from the Novi Sad theater - „Újvidéki Színház".
